FIRE RESISTANT DOORS

The fire resistant doors slow the spread of fire, by creating a protection wall between the fire and the area that we want to protect.

The fire resistant doors are certified to new European standard EN 1634-1 and are tested and certified in compliance by the C.S.I, which is approved by the 'ΕΣΥΔ' for testing and supply the fire resistant doors with the comprehensive documentation. The doors are available in 60 or 120 minutes of fire protection, but they are also available at 30 or 90 minutes after request. A distinguishable feature is the configuration of the door, which can be defined or changeable, right- or left handed, with no need for adjustment or changes. The doors are available in one- leaf or two - leafs and they can be painted in a variety of colors after demand.

The fire resistant doors are made of galvanized steel with the door leaf to various between 0.8mm or 1.2mm thickness, depending on the manufacture brand. The doorframe is type "Z" thickness of 1.00mm up to 2.00mm. The high density core is made of mineral wool layers alternating with special fire-resisting compound.

The fire resistant doors are supplied as standard with plastic handle in black (without cylinder ), rubber gasket and the fire resistance certificates.

The doors have 2 three-wing hinges for each leaf, which one of them has ball-bearing hinge with screws for vertical adjustment of the leaf and the other one self-closing spring for controlled closing.

The two-leaved doors include a closing regulator and a locking mechanism for the inactive leaf to ensure the correct closing sequence of the leaves. The fire resistant doors have an identification plate, a metal tag with the door's data, in accordance with current regulations.

Upon request all fire doors may be equipped with fire rated stratified glass windows.

The windows are available in round shapes with sizes Φ 300 or 400 and in rectangular shape, size 250x 400 or 300x 400.

SOUND PROOF DOORS

Thanks to an all-round seal and door leaf infill, the fire resistant doors can offer good sealing and thermal and acoustic insulation characteristics The sound proof doors can be used in places where the sound levels are extremely important to stay reduce, like cinemas, recording studios or even work spaces that offices are close to each other. The doors are able to provide acoustic insulation 30db up to 47 db and they are accompanied by the certificated documentations.

For achieving the requirement insulation, the doors are tightly sealed with special rubbers.

They have the same construction as the fire resistant doors, the door leaf made of double galvanised sheet steel but the leaf infill is deferent with core honeycomb. They are also available in doodle leafed and they can be accessorized as the fire doors. After request the doors can be equip with ventilation holes.
